White-Fringed Emerald

    According to my research, the beautiful Moth is just passing by.
    QUESTION: Can I feed it something for its journey?
    I think he/she was in some clothes that I was drying, brought him/her inside and then carefully put him/her outside. He moved from the concrete to the plastic chair but has not moved overnight.

    That looks like a fairly safe place for it (don't think any birds will notice it) -- I suspect it will likely fly away come the evening. I don't think you can feed it / water it. Oh, and it's a very pretty moth.

    The little moth did fly away after a couple of days. We put a "salt lick" out for the insects - not sure if he used it though.
